A few weeks ago, my family and I headed on an adventure to Seattle. The trip was planned by my dad to gather everyone to celebrate and surprise my Grandma Flo for her 90th birthday.
Before the big celebration though….we headed out to explore the city. Here are just a few of my favorite things that I photographed on the trip.
The iconic sign.
I wanted to photograph everything here…..and eat everything here!
The flowers in the market were TO-DIE-FOR!! The smells were amazing!
Who are these handsome fellas? I’m sure they did something “REALLY FUNNY” for the photographer (a.k.a…..wife, mom) right before this and were cracking themselves up apparently!
Loved watching them toss the fish around at the fish market! Definitely one of the main attractions!
The famous GUM WALL…..ewwwwwwwww! My nephew, Charlie, even added his piece of gum to the wall to be forever STUCK there!
(Jack and Luca)
My little buddy that just hung out with us for a while…….
The ORIGINAL STARBUCKS down in the Market.
I love street musicians…….
…..and so does Scarlet!
Mmmmm……white chocolate mocha….add a little caramel….YUM!
The colors were beautiful on our walk to the Space Needle.
HAHA……what our kids will do to entertain us!
The Chihuly museum next to the Space Needle.
My husband, Scott’s, FAVORITE spot to visit in Seattle…..the 5 Point Cafe. We were going to go there for lunch….but saw a sketchy sign and….well…..I can’t really say on here what it said….we just opted for PIZZA across the street.
The Fremont Troll Under the Bridge….kids loved it!
Entering the Ballard Locks where the Salmon run every year to spawn. Check it out HERE. Very cool….very beautiful place.
I am definitely growing decorative kale next year…..love, love, love this!
I hope you all enjoyed part ONE of our family adventure to Seattle…..part TWO is coming up where we celebrated my Grandma turning 90!
